KARA Family Resource Centre is bringing a free program for teens 10 to 13 years of age to Kilkenny Hall. The program aims to promote social interaction, skill-building, and personal growth through a variety of activities and workshops.
A KARA Led program, designed to support young teens through prevention-based care by fostering connection, skill-building, resilience, and community contribution. Through engaging activities such as arts and crafts, interactive games, and workshops on self esteem, communication, and problem-solving, participants have the opportunity to explore their interests and develop essential life skills. The program creates a safe and inclusive environment where teens can build positive peer relationships, strengthen their confidence, and practice healthy coping strategies. In addition, participants take part in projects that enrich those around them, encouraging them to become stewards of their community and citizens who care about the well-being of others. By emphasizing early support, personal growth, and community engagement, Glow Together helps youth establish protective factors that reduce risks and promote long-term well-being.
